Privacy policy

Collect what is needed. Explain why. Delete it when the relationship ends.

This policy describes the information the current Data Cash website, waitlist, profiles, and interactive simulation process today. It does not quietly treat a profile as permission to collect task data.

Effective July 13, 2026

The short version

Data Cash currently collects the details needed to run profiles and the contributor waitlist, maintain account sessions, prevent abuse, and send requested communications. The interactive simulation does not upload task audio, video, camera, microphone, or file content. Current profile and waitlist information is not sold or used for cross-context behavioral advertising.

What the current platform handles.

This is the practical inventory for today’s website. Data Cash will update it before any real task-media collection begins.

01

Information collected

Depending on how you use Data Cash, the current Platform may process:

  • Waitlist details: name, email, state of residence, adult and U.S.-location confirmation, contributor-interest confirmation, optional marketing choice, source, and timestamps.
  • Profile details: display name, state of residence, access status, waitlist connection, confirmation dates, and account timestamps.
  • Authentication information: email identity, an authentication user ID, and session information handled through Supabase Auth. Data Cash does not store your plaintext password in the public profile table.
  • Security information: request metadata and keyed hashes derived from an IP address or email address for short-window rate limiting and abuse prevention.
  • Messages: information you choose to include when contacting Data Cash.

The current interactive simulation does not accept real task uploads. Simulated tasks, balances, reviews, credits, and cash-outs are not real transactions. A local demo-status value may be stored in your browser to remember a preview state.

02

Where information comes from

Most information comes directly from you when you create a profile, join the waitlist, select a communication preference, sign in, or contact Data Cash. Technical and security information is generated automatically by your browser, hosting infrastructure, authentication provider, and Data Cash security controls when you use the Platform.

03

How information is used

Data Cash currently uses information to:

  • create, authenticate, and administer contributor profiles;
  • operate the First Movers waitlist and determine current access status;
  • confirm current age and U.S.-location requirements for contributor profiles;
  • send verification, recovery, waitlist, security, and other operational messages;
  • send optional launch or marketing messages when selected;
  • prevent spam, fraud, duplicate abuse, and unauthorized access;
  • diagnose problems, protect Platform integrity, and improve the experience; and
  • respond to questions, corrections, unsubscribe requests, and deletion requests.

Data Cash does not use current profile or waitlist information as an undisclosed training dataset. If real paid-task collection opens, its purpose, rights, and handling rules will be disclosed before participation.

04

Service providers and disclosure

Data Cash uses service providers to operate the Platform. Current providers and provider categories include Supabase for authentication and database infrastructure, Hostinger for application hosting, and email delivery infrastructure for account and waitlist messages. These providers process information on Data Cash’s behalf under their own service terms and security responsibilities.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with law, legal process, or a valid government request;
  • protect users, Data Cash, the public, or Platform security;
  • investigate misuse, fraud, or a violation of the Terms; or
  • support a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate notice and safeguards.

Data Cash does not currently sell profile or waitlist personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. A future transfer of accepted, paid task data would occur only under the separate task agreement presented to the contributor; it is not authorized by creating a profile or joining the waitlist.

05

Cookies and local storage

Supabase authentication uses browser cookies to maintain and refresh signed-in sessions across client and server pages. Data Cash may also use browser local storage for a simulated verification status inside preview experiences. These technologies are used for account and product functionality, not third-party behavioral advertising.

You can remove cookies or local storage through your browser settings, but doing so may sign you out or reset preview states. Hosting infrastructure may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms to deliver and secure the service.

06

Retention

Profile and linked waitlist records are generally retained while your account or the First Movers program remains active, or until you ask Data Cash to remove them, subject to information that must be retained for security, legal, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping purposes. Rate-limit records are used for abuse-control windows and related security administration.

Data Cash will publish a more specific production retention schedule before accepting real task media. The goal is to keep information only while there is a legitimate operational, security, contractual, or legal reason to retain it.

07

Security

Data Cash uses administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect current Platform information, including authenticated access, row-level database controls, input limits, request throttling, and restricted server credentials. No system is perfectly secure, and Data Cash cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, or misuse will never occur.

Do not send sensitive task media, passwords, financial credentials, medical records, or identity documents through general email or contact channels.

08

Your choices and requests

You may ask Data Cash to:

  • confirm whether current profile or waitlist information is associated with your email;
  • correct inaccurate profile or waitlist details;
  • unsubscribe from optional marketing messages;
  • delete your profile and linked waitlist entry, subject to permitted retention; or
  • answer questions about current collection and use.

Send requests from the email address associated with your profile to hello@datacashhome.com. Data Cash may need to verify the request before disclosing, correcting, or deleting information. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional rights. Data Cash will not discriminate against a person for making a valid privacy request, although deleting information needed for an account may end access to that account.

09

Age and location

Data Cash contributor profiles are currently intended for adults who confirm they are at least 18 years old and located in the United States. The Platform is not directed to children, and Data Cash does not knowingly create contributor profiles for anyone under 18. Contact Data Cash if you believe a minor provided profile information.

10

Policy changes

This policy will change as the product changes. Material updates will be posted with a revised effective date, and additional notice will be provided when appropriate. Data Cash will expand this policy and obtain appropriate legal review before opening paid task uploads, live payouts, or buyer delivery.

11
